Deliveries and pickups to RESIDENCES are done Monday to Saturday between 4am and noon. Requests for deliveries and pickups at specific times of day are not guaranteed. On rare occasions and during busy holiday seasons when we have a full route, this estimated delivery window may widen. If you absolutely require an early morning installation, we recommend ordering for one day in advance of your event. Rental periods are not based on hours, so a one day rental may be more or less than 24 hours, depending on where your stop falls along the route.

No Sunday delivery or pickup is available.

Deliveries and pickups to SCHOOLS are done Monday to Friday between 4am and 30 minutes before school starts; Saturdays before noon. Requests for earlier delivery times are not guaranteed. For information related to permission, please see below.

When ordering a delivery to a SCHOOL that Critter Yard Cards® frequently services, you do not need permission from administration. In this case, we have a blanket approval to conduct business on the campus without requiring additional approval. If, however, you are scheduling a delivery to a school where you have not previously seen our products, we require that you ask the administration in advance for permission. Contact your Critter Yard Cards® store if you’re unsure whether or not we service a particular school.

All yard cards measure 8-ft tall.

Yard cards and message blurbs are printed on both sides, so they can be seen from either direction.

Note: When a delivering to a school where it's installed on an angle and visible to cars entering from one direction, the blurb message may only be printed on the visible side.

No hidden fees! The total price includes: a yard card rented for a specified period of time, a free standard message blurb personalized by you, and a complimentary gift message. The Critter Yard Cards® team assembles each yard card, discreetly installs it at the arranged location, and promptly removes it at the end of the rental period, unnoticed.

Critter Yard Cards® does not charge a separate delivery fee. The total price at checkout includes the Product(s), delivery, installation, and removal. In the event that we need to dispatch a driver after the initial delivery, a fee based on mileage will apply.

Yes, Critter Yard Cards® locations are subject to the taxes of the state in which they service.

Your rental period can last for any desired amount of time. An average rental period typically ranges from 2-3 days, with others lasting up to a week. For residences, we recommend at least a two-day rental, so the recipient has ample time to enjoy the display.

We require a one day's notice. If you're interested in a popular yard card, we recommend ordering in advance to secure that product, before it gets booked by another customer. The clock in the upper right hand corner of our website indicates how much time is left to place an order for the following day.

Same-day service is not available.

No, due to our potentially early delivery hours, we do not require that someone be there to meet or supervise our drivers.

Our displays are meant to bring happiness, therefore we will not allow anything mean or cruel to be written on the blurb. Please, do not add emojis into the message. Our program does not support emojis, and if used, the emoji will obstruct your personalized message. Critter Yard Cards® is not responsible for errors caused by the insertion of emojis.

Tip: Keep your message short and sweet, so that people can easily and quickly read it from a distance.

Add either a personalized greeting card or complimentary gift message post card to your order at checkout. Both of these options are placed in the recipient's mailbox for protection against the elements. Only available to homes. Critter Yard Cards® is not responsible for lost greeting cards or gift message post cards.

We will not install too close to roads, sidewalks, or other public areas that could potentially put drivers, pedestrians, and our Product(s) at risk. Critter Yard Cards® also respects all local easements and right-of-ways when considering placement.

Absolutely! At check-out, please describe your ideal spot in the special instructions section. Keep the directions simple (for example: "when facing house, put to the left of driveway," "put to the right of mailbox," "put in the middle of lawn," etc). Always provide directions as if you are facing the house from the road (not standing inside). Keep in mind that our drivers may be making the delivery in the dark at dusk. If the special instructions section is left blank, our driver will use his/her best judgement based on extensive training and experience. Note: Drivers are unable to call upon arrival.

Important! Installing the yard card in grass is ideal, as it's anchored by cables and stakes driven into the ground. However, if you are aware that there is no earth at the delivery location (i.e. all concrete), please notify your Critter Yard Cards® store in advance so drivers know to bring a base/stand. Failure to notify us may result in having the yard card installed haphazardly or the delivery not being fulfilled and no refund given. A stand cannot be placed in roadways or on sidewalks where it will interfere with pedestrians. Note: a stand is only available in situations where there is absolutely no grass/dirt for installation.

If you would like your yard card moved to a different part of the yard (same address), please call our office and we will be happy to assist you. A new fee will apply, based on mileage. Customers are not permitted to transport our yard cards to different addresses (i.e from one residence to another). That would be considered two separate orders and will need to be serviced by our delivery team. 

A grassy area measuring ~ 6'x4' is necessary to accomodate the yard card. A larger area is needed for add-ons, such as flocks and balloons.

You acknowledge and agree that you are entering into a rental agreement with Critter Yard Cards®. The Product(s) have been received in good condition (ordinary wear and tear accepted) and will be picked up in the same condition. You agree to pay in full the replacement cost, including labor, for all damages to rental Product(s). You agree not to loan, sublet, or otherwise depose of rental Products or use at any other location.

No, our displays will not damage the lawn. Installation is similar to aeration, which is actually beneficial to grass!

Important! If there is a sprinkler system present, please note it in the special instructions section of your order and mark the sprinkler lines with flags. Critter Yard Cards® is not responsible for damage caused to irrigation systems or invisible dog fences. THE PERSON(S) OR ORGANIZATION PLACING THE ORDER ASSUMES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR INJURIES TO PERSONS OR DAMAGES TO PROPERTY (INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IRRIGATION SYSTEMS AND INVISIBLE DOG FENCES), AND AGREES TO RELEASE AND HOLD CRITTER YARD CARDS, LLC, HARMLESS FOR ANY AND ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF USE OF OUR PRODUCT(S) DURING AND AFTER THE RENTAL PERIOD. 

Our yard cards are meant for outdoor use only.

We do our best to deliver in all weather conditions. However, we reserve the right to cancel the delivery if we can't get to the location safely. At that time, our office will contact you to reschedule or refund your payment. In the event of a snow storm, our drivers may go out the evening before to complete their routes. Any pickups scheduled for the day of the predicted storm will be removed the evening before as well. In this case, we try our best to pickup at nightfall so the recipient has all day to enjoy their display. Refunds for the additional day are not given, unless pickup is an entire day ahead of schedule (i.e not in the evening). Our office will be in contact via email to keep you up to date regarding deliveries. Pickups should refer to this inclement weather policy.

For the safety of you, your lawn equipment, and our Product(s), we advise homeowners to delay all mowing and trimming around the display until it has been removed. We appreciate you taking care of our products so others can enjoy them too!

Important! No, both the yard cards and blurbs are reused and therefore the property of Critter Yard Cards®. Any part of the setup that is removed by the homeowner will need to be returned to us immediately. If a driver needs to be dispatched for a second pickup, an additional fee will apply.

You will receive a full refund if extreme weather conditions prevent us from fulfilling your order. If the display falls down due to strong winds, a refund will not be given. Instead, we require immediate notice and will promptly dispatch a driver to fix the problem. You will not receive a refund if: (i) the homeowner or recipient stops us at the time of installation; (ii) the homeowner or recipient requests an early pickup; (iii) you provide an incorrect delivery address and/or date; (iv) we cannot access the gated community/security guard to enter the delivery location; (v) the property has an aggressive dog loose on the premises; (vi) any other reason we cannot set-up that is beyond our control.

Of course! To make a change, contact the Critter Yard Cards® store that will be processing your order by phone or email at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date (not counting weekends). We will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if your order has already been prepared for delivery, has already been delivered, or you did not make your request within the allotted timeframe, we will be unable to change your order.

Yes! For a full refund, contact your designated shop 48 hours before the scheduled delivery date (not counting weekends). If you cancel 24 hours before your scheduled delivery date, the refund will be 50 percent of your original order. Same day cancellation is considered a refusal of service with no refund issued. All cancellations (and changes) must be made during our business hours. For example, if your scheduled delivery date is Wednesday, the last day to cancel for a full refund is Monday during business hours. If you attempt to cancel after business hours on Monday, your request will be received when our office opens Tuesday and your refund will be reduced 50 percent. You must speak with your Critter Yard Cards® store (via phone or email) to cancel. If cancelling by email, you must receive an emailed response for the cancellation to be valid. If you left a voicemail or email, but haven't received a response regarding your request, do not assume your message was received. All changes and/or cancellations will always be followed up in writing, so that both parties have record of the change and/or cancellation. Our default refund period is 120 days from the transaction date. After that, archived transactions cannot be refunded and will instead be offered in the form of a credit. Please keep this in mind when ordering far in advance. Refunds can take several business days to reflect on your credit card account. This varies depending on your financial institution.

Critter Yard Cards® is not responsible for balloon topiaries after delivery is complete. There are no replacements or refunds on balloon topiaries. We cannot guarantee inflation times. Variables that may impact inflation include: wind, extreme heat, amount of time in direct sunlight, etc. In the event of poor weather conditions, it is your responsibility to monitor the balloons and bring the bouquet(s) indoors if necessary. Balloon paraphernalia (metal pole and stake) is the property of Critter Yard Cards® and should be left in the ground as-is at all times. Recipients are allowed to keep the balloon bouquet. It is, however, the recipient's responsibility to detach the bouquet from the pole and bring it indoors before pickup. If balloons are still present when our drivers arrive, they will be removed with the rest of the display. These instructions should be passed along to the recipient if you do not reside at the delivery address.
